The South Ogden City Fire Department provides a number of services to the community from emergency response to public education and information. We are proud to serve you, our customers, and as such maintain a specific level of training and expertise in the areas of service we provide. We also maintain our own level of awareness with other resources so that if we don't have the answers or capabilities with performing certain tasks, we know who can provide you with the answers or services you need. Our ultimate goal is to ensure the citizens have access to a high level of emergency services and knowledge to help keep you fire and injury safe.

There really is no way to avoid certain accidents or mishaps...some things are completely out of our control, for both the general public and for Fire / EMS personnel. However, we can all benefit by specific levels of education and awareness, not only for day to day activities but for world events. Our personnel ensure that they can meet the challenges of emergency response at most any level by focusing on training and awareness of community needs, infrastructure, regional characteristics, and resource availability. The primary needs of the community and surrounding areas (with regard to emergency response and services) are Fire Protection Suppression, Emergency Medical Services, Hazardous Materials Response, Specialized Technical Rescue, and Public Education.
